We’re so excited to see Southern Downs Ark launch their brand-new mobile Meet & Greet facility, a safe, calm and welcoming space where rescue dogs and potential adopters can truly connect.
This game‑changing project was made possible thanks to the support of our Savourlifers community during our Rescue Month campaign which allowed us to fulfill their grant request of $9,800 to bring this incredible idea to life.
With no fixed shelter and foster carers spread across a 200km radius, this new setup makes it easier for Southern Downs ARK to attend more events and interact with potential adopters to meet dogs in a calm, secure environment.
The new mobile facility will head out to local markets and community events, removing barriers and making it easier for people to meet ARK’s dogs in a professional, low‑stress environment, exactly where life‑changing connections happen. This project is expected to help Southern Downs ARK find an extra 40 loving homes every year.
It’s a powerful reminder of how our model works in action: 50% of SavourLife profits donated directly into projects that support rescue partners, create better outcomes for dogs, and ultimately help more pups find their forever homes.
