From Sage & Willow's new mum.
"We had been without cats for a couple of years while we travelled. After cat sitting for family we decided we definitely needed cats back in our lives.
The search was on and I found the SavourLife Pet Adoption site.
We were after two kittens, so were looking for some that were close to each other. And then we saw Cedar (now Sage), such a sweet face. At the same foster home was Marigold (now Willow). We didn’t realise at first that they were siblings - perfect - we went for a visit. They greeted us as if they’d been waiting for us - and we were late. Lots of cuddles and purrs so of course they came home with us. They took about 10 minutes to settle in to their new home.
They must have been well socialised and cared for by all who had cared for them previously. They love people, and greet any guests. Sage’s happy place is lying across your shoulders - makes some tasks interesting, but will be great in winter! Willow decided on the second night to show us that she likes to play fetch. So, Fetch-the-Rat (thankfully a catnip filled felt version) is a nightly game.
These two seem to have created time in our lives. Time to stop and enjoy cuddles, play fetch, laugh, and share more kitten photos than I thought possible.
They have been with us for 12 weeks and we cannot imagine them not being here.
They have added a wonderful level of chaos into our lives while at the same time adding peace. They ‘help’ with my spinning and weaving and have turned our home into a parkour track! I know we will look back on these crazy kitten days with love and wonder. When you are ready to have cats in your life, I heartily recommend you adopt.
And on a side note - the only dry food they will touch is SavourLife! So glad when our box came, I was beginning to wonder what to do as I didn’t want them just on wet food."
