For the second year in a row, Pets Domain and SavourLife Rescue Challenge was a hit! The goal of the Rescue Challenge was to raise $25,000 from sales of SavourLife throughout August & September and divided equally to our key rescue partners involved in the campaign.
Together, we turned everyday meals into extraordinary impact with $20,000 donated for desexing support across WA.
Too often, victims delay leaving a dangerous situation because they have no safe place for their animals. But at Bramwell House, that’s changing. The Salvation Army is committed to evolving their policies to include pets in their domestic violence refuges, starting here. Bramwell House now has 8 pet friendly units available for families fleeing domestic violence where everyone can be safe.

SavourLife and the Petbarn Foundation set ourselves a goal at the start of Rescue Month – to help 40 of our rescue partners save 400 pups from pounds. Rescue Month is crucial as it highlights the diverse range of pups – big, small, young, old, purebred, and perfect mutts – who face euthanasia at pounds across the country through no fault of their own.
We have partnered with Animal Welfare League Queensland’s (AWLQ) Community Vet Clinics (CVCs) to offer a targeted support fund for essential veterinary care to vulnerable pet owners in need.
Thanks to your support we have been able to donate these funds to our incredible rescue partners in an effort to save more lives, find more homes and create lasting change.
