Geelong Animal Welfare Society

Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS) are a not for profit, animal welfare organisation dedicated providing best practice care, community education and rehoming programs. Our animal shelter receives no government funding and relies on the generous support of the community to deliver this vital work. We thank all those who enable our work and help us give all animals a second chance ‘because every life is precious.’

DOGS - Please call 5248 2091 for further information or to arrange a meet and greet. Please note it is compulsory that we meet any existing dogs with the GAWS dog of interest to help ensure a good match for all involved. We also highly recommend bringing any children along to meet the dog to assess the dog's interaction.
