We are a small rescue organisation dedicated to rehabilitating and rehoming dogs to new, suitable homes across South East Queensland. We have no shelter location and operate via a network of foster carers who take shelter dogs (or sometimes, surrendered dogs) into their homes to prepare them for their new lives. We strongly believe that all dogs deserve ongoing training throughout their lives. As such, we aim to empower our foster carers/adopters and dogs to build a better relationships through education. If you are interested in becoming a foster carer for Eavings Rescue - please follow this link: https://sites.google.com/view/eavingsrescue/introduction-to-fostering
Adoption Policy: Strict
Step 1: Fill in our application form with as much detail as possible - https://forms.gle/sPnL6QS2ik5A5XUR8 Step 2: If suitable, one of our foster carers will contact you via phone to further discuss the dog you have applied for and assess suitability. The same will also be done for other applicants. Step 3: A meet and greet will then be organised so that you and the dog can meet. Step 4: Once the meet and greet has been completed, if our team advises that you may be a suitable candidate you will then be required to submit a detailed written application (a template will be emailed to you) - we will then assess all applications and get back to you with an outcome. We may request a home inspection prior to finalising any application. Dogs are offered for a trial period in new homes for 21 days before the adoption is confirmed. No entire dogs will be re-homed under any circumstances.
