DEVOTED 2 DACHSHUNDS RESCUE

Devoted 2 Dachshunds Rescue (D2DR) is a small, breed specific rescue operated solely by volunteers including our committee of 8 and foster carers all committed to our vision of safely rescuing and rehoming dachshunds into their furever homes. While our registered in Queensland, we are also registered to operate throughout Australia. We receive no government funding so therefore rely on our adoption fees, bequests and fundraising. All dachshunds we rehome are desexed, vaccinated and medically checked out. Not only do we rehome, we also have about 12 currently in permanent care due to their age and in some cases, acute medical conditions.

Adoption Policy: Strict

Each dachshund is assessed prior to rehoming and matched as best we can with people on our waiting list - it's not simply next dog / next family, We work hard to try and make sure that it is a good match from the beginning. Therefore, in the first instance, we would appreciate it if you could head to our website and complete an adoption form, honestly and in detail so we can make the best choice for you and the dachshund. We also have a 14 day cooling off period. Adoption fees are determined on a case by case basis. We also provide you with ongoing support should you need it.
