Staffy and Bully Breed Rescue Inc. is a Not for Profit organisation based in Western Australia run entirely by volunteers. Our mission is to provide the best care for dogs that have been abused or need a new home. We’re engaged in the rescue, rehabilitation, re-homing and responsible ownership of Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Bull Breed dogs, including cross breeds. We’re a foster based rescue group, which takes in dogs, when and where we can, from the pound system and vets, or through private surrenders, then care for them until suitable homes can be found. As a non profit organisation with no funding, we rely on adoption fees and donations generously received from the public to save lives. We are strictly no kill, meaning only (and vary rarely) will dogs be euthanized due to untreatable terminal health issues, illness where the dog is suffering or where the dog is a risk to the public due to severe behavioural issues that have not responded to intervention. We take the responsibility of matching our dogs with the right home seriously and dogs adopted directly from SABBR are wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, microchipped, sterilised and vet checked.

Adoption Policy: Strict

Please complete application form with all required information. Our team will then process your application and contact successful applicants. Please note that we are closed on weekends and public holidays. Successful applicants will be called and a meet and greet with our SABBR dog and their carer will be arranged. In some instances, our carers will contact you to arrange a suitable time for both parties. We require all our prospective homes to be fence checked before proceeding with adoption. One of our volunteers will arrange a fence check when suitable - please note that if your home isn’t safe and secure, we will be unable to proceed with adoption until it’s rectified. Adoption fees are on each SABBR dogs profile, these are payable upon completion of adoption contract. Upon completing, you and your SABBR dog begin your two week trial. If, for any reason, your trial doesn’t work out, a full refund of adoption fee is given. We hope to find you your perfect forever family member.
