Pets by the thousands are being left homeless for a wide variety of reasons. We do not judge how these souls come into our arms, just that we welcome them. Our commitment is to find them loving and lasting forever homes using the most responsible and safe rescue means possible. We deal mainly with getting the red listed pets, either abandoned or surrendered after tragic family events, rehomed into loving and devoted homes. Many of these pets also sadly have strayed to local pounds. We hope to save the lives of homeless pets by changing the way our community views abandoned and stray pound pets. We provide an educational and friendly environment that will change the future, one animal, one family and one generation at a time.

Adoption Policy: Moderate

All CQAA animals are to be met in person, with interstate adoptions an exception. We arrange a meet and greet with your family and any other pets you may have. An adoption application will need to be completed and returned before we complete a yard check to make sure you yard is secure and fully fenced, shade and shelter suitable for your new animal. Upon approval your adoption fee will be paid before collecting your new family member. You will go on a 14 day trial period. If at anytime in that 14 days you find you can not keep your animal, they shall be returned and you will receive a refund of your adoption fee minus $50 - Admin Fee. If after the 14 day trial period you have decided to continue with the adoption of your animal we will send you out your adoption pack. This pack includes - Desexing Paperwork - Microchip number - Vaccination Records - Receipt of payment - Worming, Heart Worm and Flea treatment dates. Your change of ownership/microchip form will also be sent with this paperwork for you to fill out and send on. If you have any queries or questions please email us at [email protected]
