Hunter Animal Rescue (HAR) is a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers who dedicate their time to finding new homes for abandoned pets facing euthanasia. All animals are kept in foster carer homes where they experience a good quality of life and the carers get a good idea of a dog or cat’s personality and suitability for different homes.
Adoption Policy: Strict
A two week trial period is given for all new owners. All Hunter Animal Rescue dogs are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, vet checked, treated for fleas and wormed. The puppy adoption fee covers the initial two vaccinations and desexing. Hunter Animal Rescue pups are microchipped, vaccinated, vet checked, treated for fleas & wormed. If you are looking to adopt, please contact the Carer listed for the animal as they will be able to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information. Please understand that our Carers are volunteers so it may take them a little time to get back to you. All interested people need to complete an adoption application and pass a yard inspection. Please read our adoption agreement if you are considering an HAR animal.
