We are a rural pound run by Mount Isa City Council.
Adoption Policy: Moderate
1. Animals have not been checked by a veterinarian, and it is recommended that a full health check is conducted as soon as possible, once adoption is complete. 2. The number of animals kept at this property is in accordance with the allowable number of dogs/ cats to be kept on a property this size as stated in Council’s local laws 3. Failure to comply with the Council’s Local Laws and any relevant provision of the Animal Management (Cats and Dogs ) Act 2008 may result in the Council taking action against myself. 4. Comply with the minimum standards for keeping an animal as specified in the Mount Isa City Council Local Law No.2 (Animal Management) 2013. 5. I understand that my animal must wear any prescribed registration tag at all times. Should the tag become lost and/or damaged, I must make application to Council for a replacement tag/s forthwith.
