HAPPY HEARTS ANIMAL RESCUE

Happy Hearts Animal Rescue is dedicated to promoting balanced, respectful and enriched relations between people and pets, working in conjunction with pet suppliers, shelters, veterinarians, trainers and other professionals in providing for animals in need. Our goal is to rescue and save as many animals as possible, and to increase awareness that rescue, fostering and adoption save lives. We are working to build a large network to provide the best care for every individual animal we rescue to prepare them for adoption. ​We aim to achieve this through graduate and postgraduate programs for aspiring animal foster carers; continuing behavioural education for shelter personnel, trainers, veterinarians and other animal professionals; and the provision of practical, humane advice on pet behaviour for owners.

Adoption Policy: Strict

All potential adopters are interviewed by one of our trained foster carers, who will conduct a home visit prior to any adoption, and for this reason we cannot conduct interstate adoptions.
