South Gippsland Animal Aid

We are a small group who care about the fate of injured, abandoned, or unwanted animals. We run subsidised desexing events and also a last litter program. We aim to help stop the flow of unwanted animals into the pound system by running these desexing initiatives, thereby reducing the number of animals euthanised in pounds. We take animals from the pound that could otherwise face euthanasia. We educate the public about the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, and the importance of keeping their cats safe by not allowing them to roam. We are a foster care network run solely by volunteers, and all our animals are cared for in family homes.

Adoption Policy: Moderate

All of our animals are desexed, microchipped, flea and worm treated, have had at least their first vaccination and are vet-checked. We adopt felines to indoor-only homes; access to a cat run is a bonus.
