Illawarra Cat Rescue

Illawarra Cat Rescue is a voluntarily run, registered Not for Profit and Charitable Organisation. All donations and profits from our fundraising shop, go to supporting cats and kittens in need in the Illawarra. All donations over $2 are tax deductible. We are a foster care-based rescue, which means we do not have a shelter or cages, we foster cats and kittens in our homes filled with love, care and compassion.  Our cats and kittens acclimate to a home environment with kids, other pets and all the noises of a normal home. This means they settle in a lot quicker upon adoption. ​We only adopt to indoor only homes and adoption fees apply. Check out our other pages for more information.

Adoption Policy: Strict

We are a registered Rehoming Organisation R251000266 and charge an adoption fee of $295. The adoption fee covers the cost of their vet work (desexing, vaccination, microchip and change of ownership). We only adopt to indoor only homes and try to place our cats and kittens to the best compatible family. Note: kittens need three vaccinations (One per month. We do provide the first vaccination and there are two more vaccinations needed at the adopter's expense). After this, cats are to have one vaccination per year.
