Unbound Angels Dog Rescue Inc. is a South Australian-based, not-for-profit rescue organization committed to rescuing and rehabilitating special needs puppies from the pound and from euthanasia. We specialise in blind, deaf, and special needs puppies.

Once an enquiry is sent, please follow the link on the email you are sent by Savour Life. Unbound Angels Dog Rescue reserves the right to reject an application if we feel the dog is not suitable to the situation/family. All dogs adopted from Unbound Angels Dog Rescue will be microchipped, desexed, vaccinated and DACO registered. All adoptions will commit to a 2-week trial; we ask that you work with us to make this as smooth as possible for both you and the dog. It can take at least 2 weeks for a dog to start to settle and show their true character. PROCESS 1. Application Form Applications will be reviewed by the admin staff and foster carer. 2. Interview with Foster Carer/Admin staff You will be contacted by the admin staff regarding your application and should it progress, the foster carer will make contact: Local applicants: A meet & greet will be arranged with the foster carer Interstate applicants: A Zoom call will be organised with the foster carer 3. Yard Check Prior to final approval, a yard/property check will be conducted to ensure the environment is safe, secure, and suitable for the dog. This may be done by Zoom for interstate adoptions. 4. Progress with Adoption Adoption fees are finalised. Handover or transport arrangements are organised (interstate transport is at the adopter’s expense) You’ll receive all relevant records and information After a successful 2-week trial, all paperwork will be emailed to you and the dog will be changed into your name. In the case that you may one day be unable to care for your dog due to any reason; we request that Unbound Angels Dog Rescue are given first preference in taking this dog back into our care and finding another suitable home for them (giving care availability.) You are inquiring for a dog for which genetics are not known in, this dogs breed is only an educated guess of both the rescue team and vets; And that a DNA test would be the only way to get a more accurate idea of breed/s making this dog up which would be at my own cost as the new owner. You understand that the dog’s behaviour in care may be different to when adopted and in a new environment and that you will give the dog the time they need to decompress and take the advice given to me via the rescue in how best to help the dog do so.
