Welcome to Enchanted Rescue, a foster-based rescue organization serving Melbourne and the surrounding regions. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide a lifeline for street cats and kittens in need, giving them a second chance at a happy and healthy life. At Enchanted Rescue, we specialize in rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing essential veterinary care for cats and kittens facing uncertain futures. We focus on those who are on the euthanasia list in pounds and vet clinics, ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive as cherished companions. In addition to our commitment to feline rescue, we have expanded our efforts to include puppies and dogs on euthanasia lists, depending on our capacity to deliver the care and support they deserve. Operating as a self-funded organization, we rely heavily on donations and sponsorships to continue our vital work, making a significant difference in the lives of animals in need. As a foster-based rescue, we believe in the transformative power of love and care within a home environment. Many of the cats and kittens we rescue have never experienced the comfort of a loving home. Our dedicated foster carers provide the attention and nurturing they need to flourish and prepare for adoption. Located in Kilmore, VIC, our pet shop plays a crucial role in our mission. We donate 20% of the store’s profits directly to the rescue, along with contributions from our Enchanted merchandise and the Op Shop corner. We are also working diligently to secure our permit for adoptions from our store and to offer barista-made take-away coffee, further enhancing our community support. Enchanted Rescue is dedicated to creating a brighter future for animals in need, providing them with the love, care, and support they deserve. We are immensely grateful for the generosity of our supporters and partners who make our rescue efforts possible, helping us save lives every day. Here’s What You Need to Know! 🐾 All of our animals come: ✔️ Desexed ✔️ Vaccinated (1–2 vaccinations – any future ones are the adopter’s responsibility) ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Flea & Worm Treated as needed 🏡 Indoor-only homes are required – regardless of council laws. ✨ Ready to take the next step? You must fill out an adoption application before being considered for a meet & greet: 📄 Adoption Application Form can be found on every animals profile. (Enquiries alone won’t be considered without a completed application!) 📝 Once approved, your adoption journey includes: 1. A friendly chat with the foster carer 2. A meet & greet 3.
