Welcome to Enchanted Rescue, a foster-based rescue organisation serving Melbourne and surrounding regions. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide a lifeline for street cats and kittens in need, giving them a second chance at a happy and healthy life. At Enchanted Rescue, we specialise in rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing essential veterinary care for cats and kittens facing uncertain futures. We focus on those at risk of euthanasia in pounds and vet clinics, ensuring they are given the opportunity to thrive as cherished companions. In addition to our commitment to feline rescue, we have expanded our efforts to include puppies and dogs on euthanasia lists, depending on our capacity to provide the care and support they deserve. As a self-funded organisation, we rely heavily on donations and sponsorships to continue this vital work and make a real difference in the lives of animals in need. As a foster-based rescue, we believe in the transformative power of a home environment. Many of the cats and kittens we rescue have never experienced the safety and comfort of a loving home. Our incredible foster carers provide the nurturing, patience, and care they need to heal and prepare for adoption. You may also notice Ingrid’s Haven cats listed through us. We are currently in the process of merging with the Haven, with the goal of giving their amazing cats a wider reach and better chance at finding their forever homes. This partnership allows us to combine resources, volunteers, and exposure to save and rehome even more lives. Located in Kilmore, VIC, our pet shop plays a crucial role in supporting our rescue. We donate 20% of store profits directly back into the rescue, along with contributions from our Enchanted merchandise and Op Shop corner. We are also working towards offering adoptions from the store and introducing barista-made takeaway coffee to further strengthen community support. Enchanted Rescue is dedicated to creating a brighter future for animals in need, providing them with the love, care, and second chances they deserve. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community, whose generosity makes our work possible every single day. Here’s What You Need to Know! 🐾 All of our animals come: ✔️ Desexed ✔️ Vaccinated (1–2 vaccinations – any future ones are the adopter’s responsibility) ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Flea & Worm treated as needed ✔️ Adults are FIV tested 🏡 Indoor-only homes are required – regardless of council laws ✨ Ready to take the next step? You must fill out an adoption application before being considered for a meet & greet: 📄 Adoption Application Form can be found on every animal’s profile (Enquiries alone won’t be considered without a completed application!) 📝 Once approved, your adoption journey includes: 1. A friendly chat with the foster carer 2. A meet & greet 3.
