Animals In Need Brisbane Inc.

Founded in 2013, we are a small group of volunteers passionate about finding the right homes for all the animals, cats and dogs, including greyhounds that come into our care. We do our best to make sure our animals are safe, healthy and happy. Animals-in-Need-Brisbane Inc. has grown from an individual rescuer, working with support from a local vet, to a small active group of animal lovers and foster carers who work tirelessly to rescue, care for and home all the beautiful animals that come to us. Most animals are cared for in home foster care while awaiting the right permanent home. Everyone involved in AIN is passionate about animals and committed to doing the best for each and every animal that comes into our care. Donations are always welcome - 100% of proceeds go to veterinary care, emergency kennelling, training and food for all animals in care. Our mission is simple, but powerful: Rescue, Foster, Adopt.

Adoption Policy: Strict

You must complete and submit the form for your application to be assessed. Please take care to fill in the correct name/s of the dog/s you are enquiring about. One of our team will review your application and be in touch. Our team are all volunteers so it may take a few days to respond.) ADOPTION DETAILS NOT AVAILABLE FOR INTERSTATE ADOPTION We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well. If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy. We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
