Central Coast Animal Care Facility is a non profit organisation with a small but dedicated group of staff and volunteers. We began operation on 1st July, 2016 as the successful tenders for Gosford City Council Pound which we run until 30th September 2021. We currently run Maitland Animal Management Facility.
The staff and volunteers of CCACF have years of experience in rescue and our aim is to find loving homes for all of the dogs and cats in our care.
We are always looking for more animal loving people to join us and if you would like to become a foster carer for one of our animals please contact us via email. We are a no kill rescue that takes dogs and cats from other facilities who are not able to operate under a no kill policy. We work with facilities all over NSW and ACT. We also accept surrenders from private citizens who are no longer able to care for their animals.
We have a small, but dedicated staff who are committed to giving the best care possible to the animals, as well as providing important education to the public in regards to responsible pet ownership.
We have many programs currently running including:
Last Litter - whereby the facility pay the desexing costs for female dogs to ensure the breeding cycle stops. We also ensure that all pups are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and registered before finding them their forever homes.
Noahs Ark - a program that ensures bonded pairs always remain together to avoid the stress of being separated.
We are a registered not for profit charity and are so proud of the programs we have in place and of all of the work we do to rescue animals at risk.
